Rupert was born and raised in Coatesville, Pennsylvania and graduated from Scott High School in 1966. He graduated from West Chester State College in 1970 with a BS in secondary education with a concentration in geography. After graduation, Rupert returned to Coatesville and taught ninth grade Earth and Space Science for nine years at Scott Intermediate School. He also coached soccer and baseball at the ninth grade level during his teaching years. It was while teaching that he met and married his wife Pamela in the summer of 1978.
The lure of the casinos prompted Rupert to leave teaching in the summer of 1979 and move to Ventnor, New Jersey as he started dealing roulette and blackjack at Bally’s Park Place in the summer of 1980. While at Bally he mastered the remaining casino games and rose to the rank of casino supervisor, a position he retained until 1990 when he chose to accept a similar position at the Trump Taj Mahal.
Rupert and Pamela moved to their current residence in Linwood in 1984 where they raised their two children. Their son, Andrew, is a May 2010 graduate of York College of Pennsylvania and their daughter, Jennifer is currently a freshman at Albright College in Reading, Pennsylvania.
Rupert left the Taj Mahal after seventeen years of employment to begin a third career as a real estate salesperson. His positive attitude and his many years of excellent people skills are the strong attributes that he brings to his new career. Rupert will use his experience to help you buy or sell a property or procure a summer vacation rental.
