I would like to take the time to tell you what a great experience we had using Goldcoast Sotheby’s International Realty. Our realtor, Patty Marts, was the perfect agent to help us find our beach house in Ocean City, NJ. Patty was referred to us through a friend when I mentioned my husband and I were looking for a second home at the Jersey shore. Patty took the time to listen to our needs and what we were looking for in a price range we could afford. She truly understood what we were looking for and never tried to push us in the wrong direction or show us houses she knew we wouldn’t like. We ended up finding a short sale property we fell in love with. We had never been involved in a short sale before, so Patty took the time to explain everything very clearly and when she wasn’t sure of the answer, she would always get the correct information and pass it on to us. Patty spent four months helping us through the short sale process making herself available whenever we needed her. She would listen to our frustrations and concerns with the sale, she attended the inspection and closing, she kept in contact with all parties involved so she could update us as much as possible…she truly went above and beyond the call of duty. Having used many other realtors over the years to buy/rent other properties, I can honestly say, Patty is the best one we have ever used. I recommend her to anyone who needs help buying or selling a home.

Dear Burt,
I had the privilege of working with Anne McDowell for over 6 years in the rental and sale of our two condos during this difficult market downturn. When I initially bought the condos I called several agents. But Anne’s friendly manner and readiness to partner with us were markedly different than the other agents who either didn’t return my calls or were less than interested in working with us. I’ve seen through the years that Anne’s enthusiasm, integrity and exceptional customer service is just who she is, and it never wavered. Anne always went above and beyond to help us secure rentals, but also resolved condo and tenant problems when she really didn’t have to. This saved us enormous grief and work because we live a distance away from OC. When circumstances forced us to sell our condos, Anne fought hard for us and always encouraged us to remain positive. Hi Burt,
I just wanted to drop you a quick line about my favorite Real Estate Agent – Midge. On this Tuesday, I got a call from Midge at dinner time to report an air conditioning problem at my house. She was kind enough to go over and try a few things to get it back up and running. When this failed she called me at home and worked with the tenants to insure them that repairs would be done ASAP. This morning we were in touch by 9:00 a.m., with the HVAC company coming out to make the repair, she allowed the tenants to go to the beach and she stayed with the repair guy to see it to completion. Trust me when I tell you that not many agents that I have dealt with in my 13 years in Ocean City, would have done all this. As we ended our phone conversation today, I told her that much and also that I owed her big time for doing all this for me. You are a lucky man to have such a dedicated person working within your agency.
